This is NOT about get rich quick schemes, or hunting down some elusive money making trick that will bring you tons of cash without any effort. Those exist, but they are often unethical and personally unfulfilling in the long term.
This blog’s name is not entirely accurate. While you may end up being able to quit your day job at some pint, you will still be working on something to earn your living, BUT hopefully doing something you enjoy and are passionate about, and that’s not really work in the “9 to 5″ sense of things. This site is about finding ways to make money by pursuing the things we like to do and using our talents to bring in extra cash. Even if you don’t earn enough to quit your day job, the satisfaction of earning money by doing something on the side that involves something you enjoy and have control over is often enough to make even your normal day job more bearable.
